I received a higher than normal bill from my electricity supplier and found the whole experience quite distressing as I was just recovering from some surgery. I knew there had to be something wrong and decided to write to the Consumer Council.

- The Consumer Council arranged for additional readings of the meter to be taken.
- Errors were found and the bill was recalculated
- The consumer got back just under ₹25,000.00 from the supplier.
